The variety «Ботсадівський» is characterized by high resistance to complex overwintering factors, which is confirmed by studies in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. The frost resistance of the plant allows it to withstand critical temperatures down to -30 °C.

The crop possesses high drought tolerance, comparable to the best common varieties, and stable productivity. The variety is included in the state collection of the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
