Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree of this variety is deciduous, with moderately strong growth and an upright habit. The leaves are ovate or rounded in shape with serrated edges and are dark green in color. Flowering occurs early, in early or mid-spring, accompanied by the appearance of pale pink flowers.

The orange fruits with brown speckles have firm, fragrant flesh. The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group, with the harvest ready for collection in mid- or late August. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, drying, freezing, and canning; the seeds inside the pits are edible.

The variety is winter-hardy and self-fertile, although cross-pollination is recommended to increase yield. Successful cultivation requires a sunny, sheltered location; training the tree as a fan-trained espalier against a wall is frequently practiced. Pruning is recommended to be minimal and performed strictly during the summer period.
