The variety was created within the breeding programs of the Romanian research station SCDP Constanța to ensure stable yields and improve production characteristics.

A key feature of the variety is its resistance to viral diseases, including Plum pox virus and Potato leafroll virus, which contributes to maintaining plantation longevity. Detailed morphological descriptions of the plant and fruits are not available in open publications.
