The fruits are small, oval in shape, slightly compressed on the sides, with a shallow suture. The skin is pale yellow, with a slight reddish tinge on the sunny side. The flesh is yellowish, dense and juicy, and is distinguished by high aromaticity when fully ripe. The fruit taste is sour. The stone is rounded, the kernel is bitter. The ripening period falls at the end of July.
The variety is considered very old and is mentioned in a number of sources as a synonym or a variety of the Alberge de Montgamet variety. Information on modern breeding is absent; the variety is not listed in current registers and has no industrial significance.
