Holubova is a traditional variety belonging to the European apricot group. It has the ability to bear fruit in regions where other varieties may not yield a crop, and it is valued as a donor of adaptive traits in breeding.
The fruits of the variety are used both fresh and for drying or making brandy. Detailed agronomic descriptions, such as tree morphology, exact ripening dates, or disease resistance, are absent in the literature.
