The variety is characterized by early fruit bearing and high productivity. One of the key features is the presence of partial resistance to bacterial canker (Pseudomonas syringae).

In the international UPOV test guidelines for varieties, Hâtif Colomer is used as a reference when evaluating morphological characteristics, in particular, the length of the fruit stalk is classified as medium.

The variety is widely used in international research as part of the global germplasm collection. Its suitability for commercial production depends on climatic conditions, as fruit characteristics may vary.
