The Canadian-bred variety Harcot belongs to cross-pollinating crops and requires the presence of pollinators, such as the Early Orange or Somo varieties. The plant is valued for its regular bearing and high quality of the harvested crop.

The fruits have a round-oval shape with slight flattening at the apex and weigh from 40 to 70 g, which may exceed 80 g with a low yield. The skin of the fruits is bright orange with a red marbled blush. The variety is intended for use in commercial horticulture, with sensitivity to certain types of damage noted.
