The variety has a very early flowering period and an early fruit ripening period. The fruit flesh is light orange in color.

The plant is partially self-fertile. In scientific studies on self-incompatibility, the variety is sometimes characterized by the S-allele genotype S10S11.

The variety is used as a subject for scientific research in Hungary and is used as an example in international UPOV technical questionnaires.
