The M-LE-1 rootstock is intended for grafting apricots and other stone fruit crops. It contributes to increased yield and productivity of trees, and also limits their excessive growth compared to other seedling rootstocks.

The plant possesses high frost resistance and reduces the incidence of trunk necrosis. In the nursery, the rootstock demonstrates vigorous growth, good seed germination, and ensures a high yield of high-quality seedlings.

The pollination type of this rootstock is cross-pollinated.
