The tree reaches a height of 3–6 meters and has a spreading, well-branched crown. Flowering occurs early, between March and April, so the variety requires locations protected from late spring frosts. The variety is self-fertile, although the presence of pollinators promotes more stable fruit-bearing.

The fruits are large, round in shape, and colored yellow-orange with a characteristic carmine-red blush. The intensely yellow flesh is distinguished by its juiciness, sweet taste with aroma, and possible slight acidity. The fruits are versatile in use, suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -19...-20 °C, and shows good resistance to diseases. When grown in conditions of high humidity, it may be susceptible to a number of problems. Annual sanitary or formative pruning is recommended.
