The Priana variety is a small-fruited cultivar with an average fruit weight of approximately 25 grams. The variety is grown in Mediterranean regions, including Turkey, Egypt, and Spain.
The trees of the variety are prone to forming a large number of ovaries. To obtain marketable fruit of acceptable quality, it is necessary to perform manual thinning, removing 40 to 60% of the ovaries.
