The variety was bred during the selection work of the Institute of Experimental Fruit Growing in Caserta and is aimed at optimizing harvest dates.

At present, the variety is undergoing an assessment phase of its agronomic characteristics under the conditions of Southern Italy. Detailed morphological descriptions of the tree and fruit are absent in open sources; information is limited to the indication of early ripening dates.
