The variety is early-maturing; fruit ripening under the climatic conditions of Greece occurs in late May – early June. The variety is characterized by high yield, while the trees are self-incompatible.

The fruits are distinguished by their large size, pronounced aroma, and high content of potassium, calcium, and magnesium. The variety is actively used in breeding programs to develop hybrids resistant to Plum pox virus.
