The variety is part of the "Rubisco" group, created to ensure regular yields and fruit attractiveness due to an unusual appearance. The group includes three varieties that differ in ripening time.

The fruits are distinguished by a pronounced red blush. Breeding research was aimed at increasing adaptability and resistance to a number of diseases, however, specific data on agrotechnical characteristics or tasting properties of the "Ravival" variety are not detailed.
