The variety belongs to the early-ripening group. Under Israeli climatic conditions, harvesting occurs in May. The plant is characterized by a low chilling hour requirement, which allows it to be cultivated in zones with warm winters.
The fruits have golden-yellow skin and yellow-orange flesh; the stone separates easily from the flesh. The tree is self-fertile and distinguished by good productivity. The variety is often used as a parent form in the breeding of new varieties and as a pollinator for other apricot varieties.
