The tree has moderate to strong vigor, reaching a height of 6 meters by 10 years of age. The variety is self-fertile and characterized by late flowering, which increases the resistance of flowers to spring frosts. Grafting onto certain plum and peach rootstocks may lead to incompatibility.
Fruits are medium to large in size and are suitable for fresh consumption and processing. The variety is relatively resistant to diseases, however, it may show sensitivity to Monilinia. Yields may decrease due to a tendency for fruit drop when grown on dry soils.
