The variety is also known by the names Eisdense, Eisdense kers and Bastaarddikke. The medium-sized fruits have a conical elongated shape and shiny dark purple or almost black skin. The firm, juicy, dark purple flesh has a sweet taste with a slight bitterness.
The plant has medium to high growth vigor, forming large, healthy trees. The variety is characterized by regular bearing, resistance to fruit cracking, and low susceptibility to Monilinia. Requires pollinator varieties.
