The variety was bred at the Lithuanian Institute of Horticulture and Vegetable Growing. Genetically, it is the result of crossing Hedelfinger and Rožinė varieties.
The plant possesses adaptability to various climatic zones of Lithuania, is characterized by winter hardiness and resistance to fungal diseases. The berries are suitable for fresh consumption and for processing, in particular for making compotes.
