The tree is vigorous, forming a voluminous, dense crown, reaching a height of up to 6 meters. The variety is characterized as quite hardy and long-lived. It is self-sterile; pollinator varieties blooming during the same period are required to obtain a yield.

The fruits are large, having a blunt-oval or heart-shaped form. The color of mature fruits varies from dark red to almost black. The flesh is firm, cartilaginous, juicy, dark red in color, and the taste is sweet with mild acidity. The fruits are distinguished by good transportability, however, they are prone to cracking during prolonged rains.

The variety is late-ripening; harvest maturity occurs in the second half of June or in July. The fruits are used both for fresh consumption and for various types of processing, including canning and juice production.
