The tree is vigorous, forms a broad rounded crown, and is distinguished by abundant flowering. The variety is considered early; fruits ripen in late May to early June.

Fruits are medium or large, weighing about 6 g, and have a heart-shaped form. Skin color varies from red to almost black at full maturity. The flesh is dark red, firm, juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste, and the stone separates partially.

The variety is self-incompatible and prone to fruit cracking during heavy rainfall in the ripening period. It is used primarily for fresh consumption.
