Variety description

The variety is the result of therapy and selection of a mutation of the Korvik variety, which was obtained from crossing Kordia and Vic. Trees are distinguished by moderate vigor and a compact, branching crown, which allows the variety to be used in intensive orchards.
The fruits are large, heart-shaped with a pointed tip, weighing 9–10 g. The flesh is firm and juicy, dark red in color, with a sweet-and-sour taste with wine notes. The fruits remain on the tree for a long time and tolerate transport well.
The variety matures in the 4th cherry week, approximately two weeks later than the Burlat variety. It is resistant to fungal diseases, in particular to Monilinia fructigena, with moderate sensitivity to Blumeriella jaapii. Flower buds are sensitive to spring frosts.
The variety is self-incompatible and is not pollinated by the Kordia variety. For cross-pollination, other varieties that bloom at similar times should be selected.
