Trees of the variety are moderately vigorous. The fruit has a shiny skin, the color of which changes from pale yellow with a blush to bright red, becoming dark purple-red at full maturity. The flesh is pale yellow, juicy, very sweet, with a refreshing flavor.

The variety is classified as mid-early, ripening in early July. The flowering period is medium or medium-late. The variety is self-incompatible; Amber Heart or Stella are suitable as pollinators, while incompatibility with the Waterloo variety is noted. The fruit is intended for dessert use.
