The tree has medium to strong growth vigor, forming a wide spreading or drooping crown. Depending on the rootstock and training method, the plant height reaches 3–5 meters. The variety is characterized by high frost resistance and is capable of withstanding temperature drops down to -28°C.

The fruits are large, weighing 10–12 grams, have a rounded shape and a dark purple, almost black color when fully ripe. The flesh is firm, juicy, and sweet in taste. The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators such as Van, Burlat or Hedelfingen.

The yield of the variety is high and regular. The fruits have a universal purpose and are suitable both for fresh consumption and for all types of processing. The variety shows medium resistance to diseases and is susceptible to Coccomyces hiemalis.
