The tree is distinguished by a unique spreading, moderately drooping crown shape and early onset of bearing. The variety is self-fertile and is widely used as a pollinator for other varieties. When grown on dwarf rootstocks, such as Gisela 5, the tree is suitable for compact cultivation.

The fruits are black in color, have medium flesh density, and are characterized by medium or large size. The variety possesses high winter hardiness, disease tolerance, and resistance to fruit rot and cracking.
