The HAUMULLER MITTELDICKE variety is considered historical and, according to some data, is the progenitor for a number of related varieties with the Haumüller name. Its origin is associated with the Haumühle mill in the Palatinate.

The tree can be grown in various forms, including standard and half-standard trees. On vigorous rootstocks, it is capable of reaching significant sizes. It belongs to the sweet cherry group and is used for table purposes.
