The tree is vigorous; at 10 years of age, it reaches a height of about 5 meters, and mature specimens can grow up to 8 meters. The variety is mid-late, with fruit ripening occurring in the second half of June to early July. The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinators blooming at similar times.

The fruits are large, weighing 6–12 g, round-heart-shaped, dark red or almost black in color. The flesh is firm, juicy, and has a sweet taste with an almond note. The variety is characterized by good resistance to a number of fungal diseases, including coccomycosis and rust, but may be susceptible to gray mold.
