The sweet cherry variety Heidegger is mentioned in Polish agronomic studies as an effective pollinator for such varieties as Kordia, Van, and Hedelfińska. Reliable data on the fruit characteristics, maturity group, or morphological traits of the plant itself are absent in the sources.
When cultivating the variety, problems with compatibility were identified when grafted onto dwarfing rootstocks such as P-HL A, P-HL B, and GiSelA 5. This manifests in growth disturbances and the condition of tissues at the graft union, which must be taken into account when selecting agrotechnical methods.
