The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 4.5–6 meters, and forms a spreading, rounded crown of medium density. The fruits, weighing 8–12 g, have an oblate-heart shape, and upon ripening, the skin turns dark red, almost burgundy or cherry-black. The flesh is firm, juicy, and sweet, with a pleasant aroma.

The variety is self-sterile and requires cross-pollination with other sweet cherry varieties. It is characterized by good winter hardiness (USDA zone 5) and disease resistance. The resistance of the fruits to cracking is rated as good or moderate.
