The variety is late-maturing; fruit ripening occurs from late July to early August. The tree growth type varies from moderately vigorous to vigorous; the crown is of medium density and is well-suited for pruning. Cultivation on dwarfing rootstocks is recommended.
Fruits have a weight of 8–9.5 g and a heart-shaped to oblate-round shape. The skin and firm juicy flesh are dark red; the fruit taste is sweet and sour.
The variety is sensitive to Monilinia rot and fruit cracking, and it is also characterized by low flower resistance to spring frosts. Recommended for warm and moderately warm regions, preferably in sheltered areas.
