The Guigne de Krüger tree is characterized by vigorous growth and high productivity, forming an upright crown. The fruits have a blunt heart-shaped or flattened form with a weakly defined suture and a medium-length stalk attached quite deeply.
In historical pomological descriptions, this variety is compared with the Eagle variety. Compared to the latter, Guigne de Krüger fruits are larger, have a lighter color, a shorter stalk, and less tender flesh.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
