The tree is vigorous, forming a wide crown; the height reaches from 4 to 10 meters. The variety is self-sterile and requires cross-pollination by other late-blooming sweet cherry varieties.
The fruits are large, round in shape, and acquire an almost black color upon full ripening. The flesh is dark red, firm, juicy, with a rich sweet taste. The fruits are versatile in use, however, they are prone to cracking during rainy weather at the time of ripening.
The tree is undemanding, but develops best on light soils rich in nutrients and lime. The fruit ripening period occurs from July to early August.
