The fruits of this variety are small in size and round in shape. Upon reaching maturity, the skin turns black. The fruit flesh is soft and is distinguished by the production of a rich, dark juice with a pronounced aroma and sweet taste.

The variety ripens in early July. It is traditionally used for the production of kirsch, as well as for fresh consumption, the production of juices, jams, culinary processing, and freezing. The variety belongs to heirloom types of folk selection and participates in biodiversity conservation programs.
