The tree is medium-sized, forming a broad pyramidal canopy of sparse structure. The variety belongs to late maturity groups; fruits ripen in the third ten-day period of July.
The fruits are large, reaching a weight of 12–15 g, and have a heart-shaped flattened form. The skin is dark-red, almost black in color. The flesh is firm (cartilaginous), juicy, sweet-tasting with a pronounced aroma. The fruits possess high transportability.
The variety is characterized by being undemanding to soil and climatic conditions and by high winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -30°C. Due to its characteristics, it is suitable for industrial cultivation and market trade.
