The fruits are oblate-round in shape and of medium size; they acquire a black-red skin color upon full maturity. The flesh is also colored black-red, possesses a sweet taste and a pronounced aroma. The variety belongs to late ripening periods corresponding to the 6th cherry week.
The plant belongs to the firm-fleshed sweet cherry type and is a local cultivar often found in old orchards and genetic resource collections. The S-genotype of self-incompatibility is defined for the variety, most often designated as S1S5, although other data are encountered in the literature.
Agronomic studies note that the variety possesses specific foliage characteristics and demonstrates a low degree of leaf pathogen infection. The fruits are practically not susceptible to cracking. The variety is intended for fresh market use.
