The tree is vigorous, forming a spherical or pyramidal crown with branches of medium density. Lateral branches grow at an oblique angle upwards, outer branches may be partially drooping. The variety belongs to the 6–8th "cherry week" according to the ripening time system.

Fruits are medium-sized, blunt heart-shaped, slightly flattened at the top and bottom. The skin is dark yellow with a bright shiny red color, becoming almost completely red upon full ripening. The flesh is light yellow, very firm, cartilaginous, moderately juicy, with a fragrant flavor reminiscent of pineapple.

The variety has low or medium-low resistance to fruit cracking, which increases the risk of Monilinia infection. It is used as a table variety, as well as for the conservation of biodiversity and cultivation as a high-stem tree.
