The variety is early-maturing, with fruits ripening in June. The tree is characterized by abundant flowering and a specific weeping crown shape. The variety is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination.

The fruits are large in size and heart-shaped or round-heart-shaped. The skin is colored dark red or reddish-black. The flesh is firm and juicy; in terms of its characteristics, the variety occupies an intermediate position between firm-fleshed and soft-fleshed heart-shaped sweet cherry types. The fruits are intended primarily for fresh consumption.

The frost hardiness of the trees is rated as medium; the plant can be sensitive to severe winters.
