The tree is noted for vigorous growth and forms a broad spreading crown. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinator trees to produce a crop. Fruit ripening occurs in the second half of June and is characterized by a high degree of unevenness.

The fruits have a dark red, shiny and firm skin. The flesh is dark red, semi-firm, and the taste is sweet or sweet-and-sour. The chemical composition of the fruits is distinguished by a high content of polyphenols, antioxidant activity, and a low content of organic acids.

The fruits are prone to cracking if there is excess moisture during the ripening period.
