This rootstock provides the tree with high vigor and a standard crown size. It is characterized by good anchorage and resistance to lodging, and also demonstrates a low tendency for root sucker formation.
Plants grafted onto this rootstock are distinguished by relatively late entry into commercial fruiting, which usually occurs in the 4–6th year. The rootstock adapts well to moist and heavy soil conditions.
