Variety description

10 August 2026

Trees of this variety are vigorous, with a compact, wide, and upright crown. The variety is distinguished by an early flowering period, low maintenance, winter hardiness down to -20°C, and early onset of fruiting with high yields.

The fruits have a heart shape, often with irregularities, and reach a medium to large size. The skin is shiny, dark red, sometimes reaching a dark brownish-red shade, and is resistant to cracking. The flesh is soft, dark red, juicy, with a sweet aroma and slight acidity. The peduncle is long, from 4 to 6 cm.

The variety is used as a table cherry. Due to the fact that it is an old regional variety, it is mainly grown in traditional orchards and on plots for the preservation of genetic diversity.
