Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is also known by the names Napoleon, Napoleon Bigarreau, and Queen Anne. The plant is vigorous, productive, and has a spreading crown. The variety is mid-season and ripens in mid-summer.

The fruits are large, with light yellow skin and a red blush. The flesh is cream-colored, firm, and juicy, with a sweet taste. For normal fruiting, the variety requires cross-pollination; Van and Black Tartarian are recommended as pollinators.

The variety is sensitive to fruit cracking in case of excess moisture and is also susceptible to bacterial canker, Coccomyces hiemalis, and anthracnose. The light color of the fruit attracts birds. The tree requires about 700–800 hours of winter chilling for development.
