Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree of this variety forms a spreading crown. The fruits belong to the large category, possess a pleasant taste, and are intended for fresh consumption. At the same time, the variety is characterized by a relative susceptibility to fruit cracking and a relatively low yield.

The variety is sensitive to Coccomyces hiemalis at the level of standard varieties and exhibits high vulnerability to low winter temperatures. To obtain a yield, pollinator varieties with similar flowering times are required, such as Stella, Somerset, Hartland, Bing, or Napoleon. The Schmidt variety is ineffective as a pollinator.
