The tree is noted for high vigor with upright branches; when using dwarf rootstocks, the crown becomes semi-spreading. The variety belongs to the spur type of fruiting on bouquet spurs and is self-fertile.

The fruit is kidney-shaped, large, 28–30 mm in caliber, with dark red skin. The flesh is red, firm and crisp, with sugar content in the juice reaching 16–17° Brix. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation.
