The variety possesses an S4|S13 self-incompatibility genotype and is self-sterile. Arthur, Leningradskaya tchernaya, and Mupi are recommended as cross-pollinators.

The fruits have firm flesh and a spicy taste. Excessive rainfall may lead to fruit softening and cracking. The variety is characterized by relative winter hardiness, is adapted to the climate of Estonia, and is intended for fresh consumption.
