Early-maturing variety, ripens in early June. Fruit are large, spherical in shape, with firm, aromatic, and sweet flesh; the skin is dark red.
Tree is vigorous, growth habit is predominantly upright. The variety is self-incompatible; it requires the presence of compatible pollinator varieties to produce a yield. For normal development, the tree requires approximately 1000 chill hours at temperatures below 7 °C.
The variety is local to Greece and is grown for fresh consumption in commercial and amateur gardening.
