The fruits of the variety have a sweet taste with a slight acidity and are prone to cracking in rainy weather. The tree is self-sterile and requires cross-pollination; Kaštánka or Karešova are recommended as pollinators for it.

The variety is of German origin and is valuable for the preservation of genetic diversity. It is used for cultivation in home gardens.
