The variety was obtained by crossing the Sam and Mlejevskaja čiornaja sweet cherries. Trees are characterized by medium growth and a medium-density crown that does not require frequent pruning. The flowers are resistant to spring frosts, and the plant itself is tolerant to many diseases.

The variety enters into fruit-bearing in the 4th–5th year after planting and has an average yield. It is self-sterile and therefore requires cross-pollination. The fruits have a broad heart shape and ripen in the second–third ten-day period of July.
