The variety is early-maturing, with the harvest period occurring from late May to early June. The fruits have a firmer flesh consistency compared to standard early-maturing varieties, such as Bigarreau Burlat.

During agronomic observations, a lower degree of fruit infestation by Rhagoletis cerasi was recorded. The variety is used in intensive production and in genetic research, particularly in the study of polymorphism of genes responsible for coloration and polyphenol content.
