The variety belongs to the Bigarreau group, which is characterized by a firm and resilient flesh consistency. The fruits are large, dark ruby in color, and possess juicy flesh with a good taste and a subtle spicy note. Due to their firmness, the fruits are well-suited for transportation.

The variety is a rare regional heirloom type that currently requires preservation and study. The late ripening period falls in the second half of July, with the harvest ripening gradually.
