ActivePrunus avium (L.) L. · Sweet cherry

The variety was obtained as a result of crossing Bing and Schmidt varieties. Historically, it was considered suitable for processing and is also used in breeding programs to develop late-maturing, large-fruited varieties. In terms of maturity, it is classified as late, ripening approximately 20 days later than the Burlat variety.
The tree has medium vigor, a spreading crown, and high productivity. Flowering is late, and the variety is self-incompatible. The fruits are of medium size (27–28 mm), heart-shaped, dark red in color, with firm, crunchy flesh and a long peduncle.
The variety is characterized by good resistance to fruit cracking and high tree winter hardiness. Susceptibility to the disease 'European rusty mottle' is known.
