Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is historical and is often mentioned in pomological literature. Identification is complicated by historical confusion, due to which other varieties, such as Ramon Oliva or Bigarreau de Jaboulay, may be hidden under this name.

The variety name indicates an early ripening period. The fruits are prone to cracking. Trees are found in the form of standard and semi-standard cultures. Traditionally, the variety was considered a farm variety, but it is practically not used in modern industrial plantings.
